Postman was formally set up in October 2014 and has over three million developers on its platform, Postman is an API client used to develop, test, share and document APIs. It provides a friendly interface of construction HTTP requests and reading the response body. It is a great tool when you are trying to test out the RESTful APIs without the hassle of writing complex code. As per the postman founders, it started simply as a side project to solve a specific problem: Abhinav Asthana, Postman’s CEO and co-founder, set out to create a tool that would simplify the API testing process.
